Danielle Ferro Rock graduated with a B.A. from Barnard
College, Columbia University. She founded the
Bloomsburg School of Dance in 1994 and directed the
Bloomsburg University Dance Ensemble from 1995-2001.
Every moment as director has been rewarding. She
continues to run the school with a standard of excellence;
offering the finest dance education possible under the
tutelage of the most highly qualified teachers in the area.
Miss Danielle takes great pride in the staff at The
Bloomsburg School of Dance. She feels very fortunate to
have the privilege of working with such a talented and
highly trained group of teachers. Miss Danielle is the
proud mother of two and still continues to teach classes
at the Bloomsburg School of Dance.
Amber Warner joined the staff in 2006. Miss Amber
earned her B.A. in Dance and her M.A. in Secondary
Education from West Virginia University. Miss Amber has
been a student of dance for over 17 years studying ballet,
jazz, tap, acrobatics, and modern. She has a wealth of
prior teaching experience in dance, tumbling, and cheer.
Miss Amber teaches High School French and Spanish at
Central Columbia High School. She is also the head coach
for the Central Columbia High School Dance Team. Miss
Amber will be getting married this December. We wish her
the best.
Alexandra Wassell joined the staff at the Bloomsburg School
of Dance in 2006. She has a prestigious career as a
professional ballerina. She has performed with the Suzanne
Farrell Ballet Company and the Pacific Northwest Ballet.
Her training also includes the Alvin Ailey School. She is the
principle teacher and choreographer for Advanced Ballet and
Modern. Miss Sandy has recently graduated from
Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Education
K-12. She is actively seeking employment in this area. Miss
Sandy is also getting married this July. We wish her the
best in marriage and employment.
Lauren Witts joined the staff at the Bloomsburg School of Dance
in 2005. She teaches all the Irish dance classes. She brings a
wealth of knowledge and experience to our program both as a
teacher and a performer/competitor of Irish dance. Miss Lauren
taught Irish for the Bloomsburg University Dance Ensemble and
performed in this Year’s Dance Ensemble Expo. Miss Lauren
still performs and competes in Irish dance. She won the
Scholarship offered by the Celtic Cultural Alliance. She also
teaches at Pride of Erin School of Irish Dance in Holland, PA.
Miss Lauren graduated from Bloomsburg University with a B.S.
Ed in Elementary and Special Education. She is currently
working toward her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from
Bloomsburg University.
Jodi Di Betta began teaching at the Bloomsburg School of
Dance in 2008. She teaches Tap, Jazz, and Hip-hop classes
as well as many others. Miss Jodi has studied Ballet, Jazz,
Tap, and Hip-hop. Miss Jodi is the teacher for Tap and the
Competition Team for the Bloomsburg University Dance
Ensemble and performed in this year’s Dance Ensemble
Expo. She also continues to teach at her home dance studio
in Long Island, NY. Miss Jodi is a student at Bloomsburg
University majoring in Deaf Education with a Certification for
English as a Second Language.
